06/03/2018 From CalTrain – June 4 through June 8, Caltrain will be working during the night to locate underground utilities. Night work hours will be from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and the field team will work as quietly as possible. During construction motorists and pedestrians may experience intermittent delays while crews move equipment through at-grade crossings.

During foundation construction in San Mateo, there will be temporary closures of the Peninsula, Bellevue and Villa Terrace grade crossings.

Peninsula Avenue will be closed from 9 p.m. on Tuesday June 5 until Wednesday June 6 at 5 a.m.

Villa Terrace will be closed from 9 p.m. on Wednesday June 6 until 5 a.m. on Thursday June 7.

Bellevue Avenue will be closed from 9 p.m. on Thursday June 7 until 5 a.m. on Friday June 8.

Illuminated and directional signs will direct vehicle traffic to detours at adjacent crossings. Notices and detour maps are provided on the San Mateo resources page.
