06/09/2018 – SAN MATEO – Get ready! The Fair opens at 11 AM on June 9th!
With over 100,000 expected to be in attendance over the next 9 days, this year promises to be the best yet with the theme; “We Build the Fun”. From the list of exhibits and attractions, this 84th Annual County Fair will live up to those expectations.
Appealing to all ages, the Fair features fine entertainment, amazing food like lobster fries, funnel cakes, cheesecake on a stick and more; arts, livestock, agricultural exhibits, petting zoo, special exhibits and the great carnival. New this year is the 90’ high Super Shot Drop Tower and the return of the bumper cars. Of course, there are the popular racing pigs.
Great entertainment includes the bay area’s own Sheila E, TLC, Gossamer Magic, Sugar Ray, Pablo Cruise. Average White Band, John Michael Montgomery, Los Caminantes, Grupo Anhelo, Banda Arkangel. R-15 and Grupo Venus.
Don’t miss the Domini Hoskins Black History Museum exhibit, the Brazilian Rainforest and Butterfly Adventures.
The Fair runs between June 9th through June 17th and is open during the following hours:

Tuesday 6/12: 12:00pm-10:00pm
Wednesday 6/13: 12:00pm-10:00pm
Thursday 6/14: 12:00pm-10:00pm
Friday 6/15: 12:00pm-10:00pm
Saturday 6/16: 11:00am-10:00pm
Sunday 6/17: 11:00am-10:00pm
*Carnival closes 1 at 11pm each night.
